At Wooded Retreat, we offer a versatile and picturesque venue for a variety of events. Host seasonal country weddings with up to 80 guests or intimate gatherings year-round for up to 30 people, with accommodations for up to 25. Whether you're planning a business retreat, workshop, family reunion, girls' night out, bridal party, or a spa service retreat, our entire property is available for your exclusive use. The wooded retreat property is 8 acres with five ponds, rolling hills of deciduous and enormous age-old 120-foot-tall white Pines. The grounds are kept impeccably with walking trails well-maintained roads that lead to each space for privacy and beauty. We provide the opportunity to rent the entire property for your special event.
Many a country wedding has taken place at the Wooded Retreat, with memories for a lifetime. Our guests love that they can not only stay on the property and have a private place for each of their loved ones, but they can do their event all in. Not only is it extremely economical but instead of a few hours, you get a few days with your loved ones enjoying their company, preparing for the event and then reminiscing about your big day. Many people who plan weddings here book a three-night stay allowing for a day of prep, decoration (though very little is needed in the way of decoration, the natural beauty speaks for itself), and getting settled in.
Many will then have their groom’s dinner with their bridesmaids, immediate family, who, after their dinner, they can either have catered, or they can use the commercial griddle and fully functional outdoor kitchen to create their favorite dishes. It seats comfortably 28 people and there is space for upwards of 19 people to stay on the property, so after dinner/ drinks a campfire or music and dancing, they can have a short walk to their space. During your stay at your event, you can have a massage or spa services. You can have it catered, you can have music, you can have decorations all done for you if you would like. Or you can keep it simple and do it all yourself. We don’t have any of these types of requirements at the Wooded retreat.

Writing to wholeness is a workshop to help work through some life concerns through writing. They teach you how to do this in a 1-3 hour workshop in small groups. Heal through writing!

500 deposit to hold date, non-refundable
Final (total minus 500 deposit) due 3 months prior to event, including damage deposit.
Total is non-refundable, damage deposit is refundable upon cancellation at any time.
(Cottage prices are broken down if you would like those in your party to pay for their own two nights’ stay. We will work with them directly to book the space, but the damage deposit will be for the entire property and the person contracted for the property for their event will be responsible for damages incurred anywhere on the property. Also, any damages incurred above the damage deposit will be the responsibility of the renter.)
